Drains, wind, nice people, and more DRAINS! Crew November's First Week

For week 1 of work, the November crew was in Laramie, Wyoming working on two trails that needed water management improvement. Throughout the week the three of us put nearly 200 drains along the trails. It's safe to say that rain won't be an issue on these trials for a while. The best thing about the project sites was how nice the people were! Almost every person who passed us thanked us for our work. Not only that but on the last two days, there were cows roaming along the trail! They were very curious about what we were working on but made sure to keep their distance. Finally, base camp was quite the experience due to the intense wind that had to deal with. Let's just say that it was hard to keep the food on the picnic table. Overall, this weekend is a much-needed break before doing it again next week... and the week after that.
